Not everyone was travelling as light as we were!

Heavy bunkers had 8m thick walls and a 10m thick roof,
Medium bunkers had 3m thick walls and a 2 to 3m thick roof,
Bunkers were blown up by the Germans as they retreated.

Now in Poland the Wolf’s Lair was built in German East Prussia.

The first car crash we came across, caused long delays as police were collecting data.
The only incidents we came across were in Poland!
